In everyday use
Daycare needs the large bag. An afternoon at the park needs the medium one and the bottle bag. A quick trip out needs the food bag and the mat. The point of a five-piece set is that you repack in thirty seconds instead of digging through one enormous bag at the bottom of a pushchair. The fabric is water and stain resistant, so most spills wipe off with a damp cloth rather than becoming a job for later.
