Aviora Family™ Baby Food Prep Set

Aviora Family™ Baby Food Prep Set

First foods are mostly a texture problem. Too coarse and it comes straight back out; too thin and it is not really a meal. This is the small set that lets you land somewhere in between — grind, press, strain, taste, adjust — without turning the kitchen over for two spoonfuls.

In everyday use

It lives in the cupboard next to the bowls, not in a box in the loft. Steam a little of whatever you are already cooking, grind it down, strain out what is still too coarse, and serve. Because everything nests together, it comes out and goes away in one movement, which matters at the end of a day when you are making a second, smaller dinner after your own.

Key features

Grinds
Works soft cooked vegetables and fruit down to the smooth texture new eaters manage best.

Extracts juice
Presses fresh fruit for small quantities, without a machine and without the cleanup one brings.

Filters
Strains out skins, fibres and lumps, so what reaches the bowl is the consistency you actually intended.

One set, one wash
The pieces stack into each other, so preparation, straining and serving happen in the same few components.

The edit

Weaning gear has a habit of being bought in bulk and used twice. We chose this because it is small, manual and quiet: no motor, no charging, no waiting for a machine to finish. It handles the six months where portions are tiny and textures change weekly, and then it stops being needed — which is exactly what a good weaning tool should do.
